Earlier this week NCSL held a Staff Conference Day to engage with employees across the business. Following feedback from a similar event earlier this year, we took into consideration improvements on where the day was located and carried out smaller, more personal sessions instead of one big presentation. And where better to carry out an event in Norwich than Carrow Road!
The workforce participated in groups and spent half a day each being involved in different break out sessions including talks on SHEQ, Fleet & Comms, HR campaigns, operational updates and a tour of the stadium.
It’s great to be able to get our employees together, as usually they are hard at work across the city due to largely operational focussed roles. Getting teams to come together encourages team bonding and building positive working relationships, which has been proven in the positive feedback heard on the day - with one employee saying "working at NCSL is the best job I've ever had".
