Responsive Repairs

Responsive Repairs is the main service for dealing with Norwich City Council's tenants' property repairs and defects.  Any property issues can either be raised through NCSL's Diagnostics Team on 0344 980 3333. Those details are then used to create a job and an appointment and NCSL then attend and action accordingly.

NCSL carry out adaptive works for Norwich City Council tenants, which can range from a simple hand rail, to an entire wet room being fitted.

When a responsive repair no longer falls within the cost threshold for a responsive repair, it is then deemed to be Major Works.

Once Norwich City Council have been alerted to any damp or mould issues in a tenants property, the NCSL damp team will investigate, which can result in a simple mould wash, to full damp surveys and the appropriate follow on work being carried out.

When a Norwich City Council property is vacated it becomes a void. These properties are surveyed and a plan of work is created, to make them fit for habitation before any prospective new tenant moves in.

NCSL can be tasked with any repairs to Norwich City Council property stock that is not residential, for example, the market, community centres etc.
