At NCSL we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone. We continually strive to improve the user experience for our community, including those with disabilities.

Our commitment:

We are dedicated to meeting the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)  2.1 Level AA. Our team regularly conducts accessibility audits and implements necessary adjustments to enhance accessibility features on our website.

Our current accessible features are:

  • Alternative text for images to facilitate screen reader compatibility.

  • Clear and consistent headings and structure to aid navigation for users with cognitive disabilities.

  • Descriptive links and labels for improved understanding and ease of use.

  • Compatibility with screen magnifiers and browser zoom functions for users with low vision.

  • Colour contrast ratios optimised for users with colour vision deficiencies.
